Policy & Conditions

For the security and enjoyment of everyone…
1	Confirmation of bookings is made by either (1) Sending a cheque for one night's accommodation per unit or (2) Providing credit card details from which one night's accommodation will be debited or (3)Internet bookings for peak periods where the total amount will be authorised and debited, unless a prior arrangement has been made.
2	Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the reserved date incur a charge of NZ$10 per unit; all other payment will be refunded. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged.
3	Changes in reservation term: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to relet the booked accommodation.
4	Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Earlier check-in and Later check-out is often possible but by prior arrangement only.
5	Payment for all accommodation must be made in full upon arrival, unless a mutual agreement is made. Incidental charges are due prior to departure. Overdue and recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid at that time. Provision of credit card details is the authority to debit any payment owing.
6	General: Visitors are permitted at the management’s discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons in their party and visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest. Our insurance excess is NZ$500, and regretfully must be passed on to guests where applicable.
7	Odiferous Foods: The cooking of shellfish and other strong-smelling foods is not permitted in our motel units, in order to avoid residual, lingering food odours. A portable barbeque is available, on request at no extra cost, for such cooking to be done outdoors.
8	Smoking: As this is a smoke free complex. Please smoke outside away from open windows, doors and other guests especially children. In the event of someone having smoked in the room we will engage a specialist cleaning company and reserve the right to charge such costs as well as any resulting loss of income, to the registered guest.
9	Pets: Well-behaved pets are permitted on the property by prior arrangement which involves the acceptance and signing of the 'GreenAcres Motel Pet Owners Liability'.
